Hall of Honor/Aggies Lost in Service
The Hall of Honor, which is located near the original main entrance of the Memorial Student Center, commemorates eight Aggies who have received the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Located at the east end of Hall of Honor, the Aggies Lost in Service Memorial is a tribute to Aggies who gave their lives in wars past, present or future. To inquire about adding a name to the memorial, please contact University Center & Special Events at 979-845-8901 or submit a name request online.
Located next to the Honor entrance and Hall of Honor, the Veterans Lounge is known as a quiet study space where no music is played. Also termed the “Fireside” lounge after the original MSC fireplace was brought back during the 2009 renovation and expansion project.
Located near the Respect Entrance and named after one of the University’s core values, the Respect Lounge is an area where students can study or relax. Features a communications wall that advertises student organization event flyers, posters and digital signage.
Just under the Memory Cloud in the MSC lower level, the PES Lounge features a wall listing all the recipients of the President’s Endowed Scholarship. Lounge furniture provides students with a quiet area to study while enjoying the marine life of the “Aglantis” aquarium.
